The firm was established by Jackson Ng and Leon Chua in 2019 as Jackson Lyon LLP. In September 2024, the firm joined Duan & Duan, an international Chinese law firm with over 40 offices across the world and China with over 2000 lawyers.
Over the past 10 years, the founding Partners have been involved in significant cases including acting for a Chinese family in a high profile leading test case relating to tier 1 investors against the UK government at the Court of Appeal affecting over 100 families, commercial fraud recovery work involving multiple jurisdictions for over £2,000,000, defending a UK client in an international family dispute over assets of about £60 million, and acting for an overseas investor in a minority shareholder's dispute of about £40 million in a well-known UK technology company.
